Fake News isn’t real news and sometimes it’s hard to tell what is, in fact, “real.” Luckily, The Columbia Journalism Review is here to help.

We took a few of these fake stories and headlines, turned them into news publications, and took over a Manhattan newsstand. Inside each printed piece was information on fake news and how to spot it. Sure enough, people freaked. So did Adweek, Adage and news sources from around the world.
